When Shawn Stussy says he’s going to work on a new project (S/Double), heads are going to turn. When Shawn Stussy and Vans decide they are working on a project together for Vans Syndicate line, those heads will spin 360 degrees and break off. These shoes came out at the beginning of the month and I can honestly say I was not that impressed with them when I saw the first images. I was not turned off by any means, but didn’t think I needed them. In Brooklyn right after these came out I was at KCDC skate shop and saw them in person. That changed everything. Do yourself a favor before you decide one way or another, see them in person, it will change how you see them. Super clean, simple, sophisticated design. Great attention to detail as usual from Vans Syndicates and super reasonable price tag. We are looking forward to seeing the launch of S/Double very soon!
