This year, the Maloof brothers have decided to bring their Maloof Money cup to NYC.  On the heels of some great losses for NYC skateboarding (Brooklyn Banks closing, Andy Kessler), it’s nice to see something positive catch our eye.  Just like last time, the course is going to be built with input from the skaters so it has a better flow and an all around better feel than a lot of parks or courses.  Steve Rodriguez from 5 Boros will be designing the course with Chris Cole, Geoff Rowley, and Joe Ciaglia from California Skateparks.  If you watched last year you know some big names came out and big tricks were thrown down at Maloof, as well as a big purse being won.  The biggest purse in skateboard history to be exact.  Really looking forward to this year in NYC, should prove lots of fun.  June 5th and 6th, more details will be brought to you, as soon as they are brought to us!
