Director of Grow Pittsburgh, a non-profit organization promoting urban agriculture, Marshall Hart traded city life in Washington, D.C. for sustainable urban living in the Pittsburgh area. “I like the idea that agriculture makes you self-sufficient,” says Hart who chose to help support the Braddock area based farm on the whim of an internet search query on agriculture-related jobs. Hart’s farm supplies vegetables to several local restaurants while also providing produce to Braddock-area residents at a reduced cost. With a family history in farming, Hart, 29, says “real work is physical work with your hands that makes you tired,” a work ethic he puts to good use in the agriculture rich Pittsburgh valley.

We opened in April of 2009 in an area called The PIazza and we were the first store to open, having our HUGE opening party before the Piazza was actually fully finished and open for business. At the end of this month we will be closing the doors on our current flagship location. We planned on having our “retail experiment” for 18 months and that’s exactly what we did. We are not being forced out by any means. It has been an amazing time where we have gained a much larger group of loyal Melt Water followers and family. We have grown exponentially in all facets of our company. I look at what we are doing on a day to day basis now and compare it to where we were then and I am amazed.
The guys at Everfresh have created Introducing the world’s largest marker. I like markers but if there is something i like mre then markers its HUGE markers YEAH!!

We have been telling about the Benny Gold X SAG bag well the time has come. The limited edition bag was released yesterday and is only for sale threw Benny Gold.
Our collab with Japanese bag manufacturer is now available!
The bag is exclusive just to our SF retail and online store in limited quantities. It’s a shrunk down version of Sag’s popular Air Force 1 bag. We made it smaller and more useable as an everyday bag. It has all the great features of the original but modified with a removable front flap to hold a skateboard inspired by Shortys bag that everyone had in the 90’s. The bag also features custom labeling, signature argyle bottom, bright pop liner, multiple pockets, clear magazine front pocket and padded laptop section.
Palladium boots with host Johnny Knoxville have made a documentary on the once bustling city of Detroit, which now is much more urban decay than life. the documentary does not focused on the crime and decay of the city but on the rebirth and restructuring of a huge metropolitan city.
