@Mike
I know it "seems obvious" that I didn't listen to that album (which was 34 instantly forgettable tracks that all sounded the same; not to mention the fact that I'd heard ALL of these songs when they were released the first time), because the actual "cd review" doesn't occur until the last paragraph of my entry. I would say, Mike, as a writer, that this is called a "rhetorical move." In this case, the last paragraph (and thus the puny review of the actual songs) is reflective of my boredom, and genuine lack of interest regarding Plow United's newest compilation. If a band who's been MIA for 14 years thinks releasing a greatest hits is worth someone's time, then I hope my readers will understand my disdain for such an act, and still think that reading my review is worth their time. I got nothing against the dudes in Plow United, or their music for that matter, but that doesn't mean I'm going lie, or sugarcoat my reaction to the record that I'm reviewing. Please don't think that your disagreement with my assessment of the material means that I'm not doing my research as a writer. Come again!

Seens pretty obvious the reviewer didn't actually listen to the record based on his descriptions. So I ask, why write review?

Way to marginalize an entire genre of music.

Whoever wrote this clearly has a personal vendetta against this band given the fact that your ACTUAL review of this record was only a few sentences long and is based on generalities that could apply to most punk rock albums or even indie rock bands in general.

If you are going to shit all over punk rock- maybe try using a website header that doesn't look like the inside cover to a "punk rock flyer book". When you do both it calls the credibility of your magazine into question...
