I know this is super last minute, but somehow this slipped through the cracks of my email. Mayer Hawthorne and the County is at Webster Hall tonight. Also in observance of Music Video Monday, check out the latest video for “The Walk” below. I actually really enjoyed both this video and song. The song has a great soulful vibe that Mayer Hawthorne has become known for, while the video portrays quite a different feeling, but the way it’s done definitely works. I was kind of hoping they would drop their guns and make out at the end, but hey, can’t always get what you want. Is it weird that the video got me kinda hot? Eh, whatever, check it out. The lyrics to this song are also amazing. Heads up DC and Philly, your next for the Hawthorne tour!
