Hot Doug’s
Posted by Ronnie Bullets on April 28th, 2012

20120428-132330.jpgYesterday I flew into Chicago to suprise Jessop for his birthday. After the shock of us being here wore off, we decided he was going to bring us to a place called Hot Doug’s. The Sausage Superstore and Encased Meat Emporium: any hot dog lovers wet dream. We got to Hot Doug’s, jumped in line and by line I mean the one that went out the door and around the entire building. After the hour or so wait, we finally got inside and it was definitely worth the wait….. The crazy selection of encased meats was overwhelming. From just The Dog Chicago-Style Hot Dog with all the trimmings: ’nuff said. $2.00 to the specialty dogs like Chardonnay and Jalapeno Rattlesnake Sausage with Roasted Pepper Aioli and Pere Joseph Cheese $8.00 there is a ton to choose from not to mention the DUCK FAT FRIES ….. $3.50 (Friday & Saturday only). Definitely a must see if you are in the Chicago area.20120428-132419.jpg
