Antarctic rock-gods GWAR today released the first line-up for this year’s GWAR-B-Q, located at Hadad’s Water Park in Richmond, VA. This year sees the event entering its fourth consecutive year while offering its most bone-crushing line-up yet, setting the stage for what will certainly be the most massive GWAR-B-Q in the history of the human or any other race!
The event is scheduled to take place Saturday August 17th, 2013 at Hadad’s Water Park in Richmond, VA, located at 7900 Osbourne Turnpike. Every high school class had that too-cool-for-school chick that changed the color of their hair every week. Every high school also had that girl who wore makeup before anyone else and would teach the rest of us how to apply blue eyeliner in the bathroom during gym class. Hair stylist and make-up artist Rachael Martin was probably both.
But she’s since moved beyond the blue liner Cool-aid hair dying technique. Rachael has mastered fully-saturated, hi-def, multi-colored looks, just like her own colorful tattoos. Martin is expert at perfectly candy-coloring hair from 5th element neon orange to expertly blended rainbow sherbet layers. Styling makeup and hair for photo shoots, magazines and costume parties, Out of Print gave Rachael a chance to be the subject of her very own shoot. We also got a chance to sit down and ask this babe a few questions.
MO: What type of styling do you do?
Rachael: I do color, cuts, all that stuff. Hair is my specialty; but special effects and theatrical makeup is a lot of fun.
