Mark Feehan, formerly of Harry Pussy, plays his first solo performance at Johnny Brendas, Saturday, May 12th. 9pm. Volcanic Tongue called Feehan and Bill Orcutt, his Guitar mate in Harry Pussy, “Two of the Greatest six string thinkers of the modern age.” Also, Feehan will be supporting a one night only Limited EP release in lieu of his upcoming solo LP release on Siltbreeze Records.

Amanda Shames (Philly) A painter whose embodiment has to be seen to be believed. A study in contrasts. A charming darling whose art betrays a Femme Fetale side that you could have only hoped for. One to watch, and who is hard to stop watching …

Fran Frank Francis (Philly) Infamous front man for notorious punk band Scareho – and sculptor? Artists of many mediums, this local legend does what he does. Fin. Onlookers be damned. You either love him or leave him – and we’re not leaving.

Mods vs Rockers will be here before you know it, so to get you amped here is the trailer for the 8th Annual Chicago Mods vs Rockers Vintage Motorcycle and Scooter Rally on June 15th and 16th, 2012! This is being billed as “the best year yet at the biggest mods vs rockers event in the USA.” As always there will be live music, classic motorcycle and even some cool scooters. All of this excitement will be crammed into two days of hell razing, gear grinding motorcycle goodness in the Windy City.
