If you live in Philadelphia, or are going to be in town for the tattoo convention this weekend, you should make yourself available Friday (tomorrow) night to head out to The Piazza for Dave Fox’s book release. It’s going to be at Jinxed from 6pm-12 am.

Fresh off his last opening at, Dave Fox has yet another opening this Saturday at Amberella Gallery. If you didnt get a chance to see the last show you still have some time to stop by Jinxed this week to check out his work. And then on Saturday make sure you check out the Amberella Gallery.

“THE NEW BLACK, a Journey into the Pink” is the latest collection of works by Philadelphia artist, Dave Fox. On his most recent adventure in the visual arts, Fox pushes the limits of optical stimulation through the exploitation of colors and characters, of which most would never dare i…magine. He takes us on a trip around the world, through time and space, from the bottom to the top, and back again, relentlessly breaking new bounds with old cliches. Through the latest technological advances in the use of flourescence discovered by Fox, he is able to bring new enlightenment to a dark world by taking the viewer out of the black and into the PINK…

SURVIVING IMMORTALITY-New Works by Dave Fox, Jason Goldberg, JL Schnabel

19 New paintings by Dave Fox, both very small and very large, and not even that expensive (ha!), plus fantastic new stuff from Jason Goldberg and Jess Schnabel (Jess also has an opening a few stores down at Amberella the same night…check that too!!!) Its time again for Exit Philadelphia’s Annual Deck Heads skateboard art show.

This year we decided to go all out for our annual skateboard art show. We managed to get over 80 of the most talented artist around to contribute to this years show and also recruited help from 3 of Philadelphia’s favorite galleries Amberella, Jinxed, and Jolie Laide for a special collaborative project. This will be a night to remember. Never before has Philly been able to pack this much art, skateboarding, and Philly Love into 4 walls!
