Hilary White has a show coming up the second Saturday in July at Sweet Jane Vintage. Be sure to swing by if you want to look at some cool art, hear some good music and enjoy tasty beverages…or if you’re not into fun, you can stay home! Sweet Jane Vintage is at at 1820 East Passyunk Ave. in Philadelphia. Opening is from 6pm-10pm.

If you have seen our post on the heART show, you have seen a preview of Hilary White’s solo exhibition, Altar. Jessop and myself were lucky enough to be able to head down to Jinxed / Toothless Cat last night to check out the show. The first time we saw Hilary White’s work was at the Heart Show in the same space, but that was just one piece. With more pieces present, the depth of her range can be gauged, which is very impressive. Sculptural wood and plastic, almost metal-like elements, really nice screen prints, paintings and even an etching. We enjoyed her work so much, that the two of us had to purchase some of her prints.
